We headed down to Surrey for our final event of the year last week, the Network Group Roadshow.

Arriving in sunny Dorking at Wotton House, we kicked off with some pre-day content presented by Members Steve Cole and Michael Freeman. The Incident Response Practical Workshop led 60+ delegates through their ‘worst day ever’, challenged by a hypothetical scenario they took part in a series of hands-on exercises, designed to make you think about every aspect of managing a major incident.

It was an early start on Wednesday as Dave Wilkeson (MSP Advisor) and Matt Takhar (N-Able) introduced the Accountability Peer Group sessions to Members, teaching them how the group works and how they’ll be using financial and operation benchmarks to progress and compare results.

Leading by Example

We kicked off the main day content with Member Led Breakout Sessions, led by Craig Atkins (1-Fx), Craig Hume (Utopia Computers), and Joe Molloy (Cusken Sync IT) sharing their experiences in business.

Craig Hume presented ‘Harnessing AI for Your Business: Dive Deep with ChatGPT and More’, sharing how Utopia have delved deep, experimenting with cutting-edge AI tools, and their discoveries.

Craig Atkins led an interactive session sharing what 1-Fix are doing, and how they’ve delighted their clients with their service desk.

Joe Molloy shared his recent experience of M&A, the ‘Why? What? How? When?’, and key lessons learned along the way.

Raise Your Hand a Bit Higher!

Renowned author, strategist, and performance consultant Jim Steele took to the stage as our keynote speaker, thrilling the room with his engaging, inspiring, and funny presentation. Drawing from cutting‐edge neuroscientific research, Jim is always seeking new solutions for the ever‐evolving challenges in today's fast‐paced business world. He has a particular passion for combining high performance with well‐being, the basis of his latest book, Unashamedly Superhuman, which delegates received a copy of.

After a coffee break, out retail Members headed into a second keynote session delivered by Carl West of Fox Intelligence. Carl dived deep into the trends of eCommerce in the UK & Europe, sharing significant trends of the year, and a unique overview of the eCommerce landscape.
