NBG Gala & Awards
The Prestigious Savill Court Hotel, Windsor, was the venue last Thursday (22nd April) at NBG’s Annual Gala and Awards sponsored by EntaTech and Microsoft.
Wayne Cockerill, NBG Chairman, was delighted with the response to the event “NBG would not be where it is today without the continued support of vendors, distributors, members and partners that help make the group successful. This was our chance to say thanks to everyone in a very public way”.
A key part of the day was the afternoon NBG Exhibition where vendor and distributors had the opportunity to network with the members of NBG and present through some focussed sessions. The evening was spent enjoying the black tie Gala and Awards with the hysterical entertainment from ever-green comedian Jim Bowen.
The NBG Awards 2010 winners were:
• Vendor of the Year – Epson.
• Distributor of the Year – Ingram Micro.
• Business to Business Reseller of the Year – Aindale.
• Retailer of the Year – Mighty Micro.
• Distribution Account Manager of the Year – Lee Reed, Ingram Micro.
• Vendor Account Manager of the Year – Paul Clayton, Brother UK.
• Product of the Year – Norton 360 by Symantec.
• Personality of the Year – Jon Atherton, EntaTech.
• Outstanding Contribution to NBG – Paul Rambridge, Sweethaven Computers.
